Notice of open house and public hearing for proposed
amendments to the 2014 Major Thoroughfare & Freeway Plan
The City of Houston Planning Commission is considering proposed changes to the 2014 Major Thoroughfare & Freeway Plan (MTFP). These include amendments resulting from the findings of the Northwest, Heights-Northside, Inner West Loop, and the Texas Medical Center mobility studies. The MTFP identifies right-of-way needs and proposes roadway alignments within the city limits of Houston and its extraterritorial jurisdiction. The MTFP process does not address the timing of right-of-way acquisition or construction activities related to the roadways.
Information on each proposed amendment will be available for public review at an open house to be held on:

Planning and Development (P&D) staff and applicants of the amendments will be available at the open house to answer questions.
