The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, Greater Houston Business Leadership Network and community partners invite job seekers, employers and community-based organizations to participate in the 2nd Annual Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities Hiring Event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 31, 2016, 8:00 to 11:30 a.m., at the United Way Community Resource Center, 50 Waugh Drive 77007.
More than 50 federal contractors and businesses are expected to participate. Job seekers will have the opportunity to network and seek employment with companies and agencies representing numerous industries, including healthcare, finance/banking, hotels/hospitality, engineering, oil and gas, manufacturing, technology, higher education and retail.
