Department of Neighborhoods & Houston Bar Association Announce 2018 Will-A-Thon
Free Preparation of Wills
for Eligible Low-Income Houston Residents

Approved clients must attend Will Clinics April 4 & May 2
The City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods and Complete Communities, in partnership with the Houston Bar Association (HBA) Elder Law Committee, announce the 2018 Will-A-Thon, offering will preparation legal services to eligible low-income Houstonians free of charge.
If eligible, clients must attend two Will-A-Thon clinics scheduled for April 4 and May 2, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Tidwell Community Center, 9720 Spaulding St., Houston, TX 77016. The clinics will be staffed by volunteer attorneys who will prepare simple wills for pre-approved participants.
Houstonians eligible for these services are low-income seniors age 60 and older and their spouses, persons with disabilities, and military veterans.
Persons interested in receiving these services must call HBA's Houston Volunteer Lawyers at 713.228.0735 to complete a screening interview by phone. The application deadline is March 30, 2018.
