Lauren's Garden

Lauren's Garden

On the northern end of Market Square Park, Lauren’s Garden is a tranquil area created in memory of Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas, a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93, and of all those lost on Sept. 11. A soothing fountain holds court over the green area, a gift to the city from the Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas Foundation. Ketria Bastian Scott’s cast-bronze sculpture resides in the fountain of Lauren’s Garden. The sculpture has two graceful vine-like tendrils growing from the fountain reaching toward each other and a young tendril emerging.
