    Mayor and City Controller Join Forces

    Mayor Lee P. Brown and City Controller Sylvia R. Garcia will hold a joint news conference today at 1:30 p.m. on the steps of City Hall by the reflecting pool. With Election Day just one week away, the two top elected City officials will encourage area voters to consider the impact of their votes on the economic health of Houston.
