Council Member Brenda Stardig

Council Member Brenda StardigCouncil Member Brenda Stardig has lived in District A of the City of Houston for more than 40 years. She served her community and neighbors of West Houston, devoting time and energy to improve the community in many ways. Her compassion and determination is evident throughout her career and her continuous service as Council Member of District A, representing over approximately 280,000 people.

Council Member Stardig is a past president of one of the largest super neighborhoods in the City of Houston. She served as president of a civic club with over 1,000 homes. Council Member Stardig also organized numerous crime-fighting initiatives. As a Spring Branch Education Foundation member, she worked to strengthen public education including initiating the foundation of the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) at Northbrook High School in Spring Branch ISD. Council Member Stardig has been a director on many boards for government, financial, and medical organizations. She is also a former graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum in 2017.
