Meet the Team
William Dabney
Chief of Staff, Agenda Director
I had the great opportunity to attend Texas A&M University for college. While there I majored in political science and was very involved in college republicans. After graduating from college I worked in the insurance planning business for a few years before moving in to politics. In the fall of 2005 I jumped back into politics as the Harris County Republican Primary Director.
Working with precinct chairs and election judges to run the 2006 Republican Primary was a very rewarding experience for me. I have already met several District A residents that I worked with on the primary as well. I look forward to having rewarding experiences with District A as well.
Lynda Sims
Communications Director, Constituent Liaison
During my academic career I interned for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison in her Houston office, the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office and for Council Member Toni Lawrence.
After finishing my Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston Downtown I was given the opportunity to work with the District A Office and have done so since 2008.
I enjoy working with the constituents of District A and look forward to collaboratively working on the District’s goals.
Corrie Rae
Special Projects Director, Constituent Liaison
I grew up in west Houston before I headed off to Texas Tech University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2005.
I then moved to Dallas and earned and my Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Texas while interning for the Town of Addison.
Before working with Council Member Stardig, I was an Event Coordinator in the Mayor’s Office of Special Events for two years.
I have a passion for local government and enjoy interacting with the wonderful residents of District A.
Lynnette Aizpurúa
Scheduler, Constituent Liaison
I am a native Houstonian and am very proud of my hometown. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
I interned with Carol Herrera, the Manager of Community Services at the City of Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center.
Currently, I manage Council Member Stardig’s demanding schedule and I enjoy this responsibility because it gives the constituents the opportunity to address their interests and concerns directly to the Council Member.
