Congratulations to District C neighborhoods of Braesmont and Meyerland for winning Go Green Houston awards this month. Braesmont won for the most improved paper recycling area and Meyerland won for the overall highest paper recycling area. Each neighborhood won $5,000 to be used towards a neighborhood project in their community. I encourage all fellow residents of District C to follow the good work of Braesmont and Meyerland and continue to recycle, whether it is with curbside pickup or any one of the drop off recycling centers around the city.
