A “B”atteries “O”il “P”aint and “A”ntifreeze event was held at Ellington Field Recycling Center in September. Residents had the opportunity to drop off hard to dispose of items including Styrofoam and appliances. A total of 14, 255 pounds of BOPA material and e-waste was dropped off and picked up.

The BOPA recycling event was held at the community recycling drop off center at Ellington Field.

Gallons of paint and batteries were just a few of the items that could be dropped off.
A total of 14,255 pounds of computers and printers were dropped off as well as 73 TVs.
