To congratulate and recognize Clear Creek Independent School District for their impressive State ratings given to them by the Texas Education Agency this year, Council Member Sullivan presented the School Board with a proclamation at their monthly meeting proclaiming August 24, 2009 as “Clear Creek Independent School District Day.” For the 12th year, CCISD received a “recognized” rating and all 38 of the schools received recognition as “exemplary” or “recognized,” all the while, overcoming the reconstructive efforts after Hurricane Ike.
