Due to the history of flooding in the South Belt Ellington region of District E, Council Member Sullivan hosted a regional flooding and drainage town hall meeting where invited representatives from the United States Congress, the U.S. Corp of Engineers, the Harris County Flood Control District and the City of Houston presented information about infrastructure and the current status of projects. Frequent flooding in the area is a concern to Council Member Sullivan and hopes the available information would help to answer unanswered questions. A follow up meeting is scheduled for October.
