Members of the Humble ISD school board, “Sconzo’s Stallions” were defeated by teachers and administrators, “WWI Memorial Warriors” in a basketball fundraiser, 38-36. The game was held at Kingwood High School and helped raise funds for the Creekwood Middle School’s service learning project. The project seeks to honor American Veterans of WWI in a memorial in Washington, D.C. To date, Humble ISD schools have raised nearly $14,000 towards the effort.
