Council Member Sullivan gathered at the Johnson Space Center with the Clear Lake community, Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce on July 24, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Lunar Landing and all of NASA’s Apollo missions. The family event hosted Apollo era speakers that recounted the events of Apollo Program and explained the direction where they hope to see space travel go. The Apollo Program, with its 6 successful lunar landings, is often cited as the greatest technological achievement in human history.
