Council Member Sullivan and Congressman Ted Poe attended the Sherwood Trails Park dedication to police, fire, EMS, and military members and to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Landscaping, a flagpole, and a plaque with an inscription of the two Kingwood servicemen that have selflessly lost their lives have been added to the park. Council Member Sullivan presented Certificates of Recognition in honor of fallen soldiers, Sergeant William B. Meeuwsen and Lance Corporal Luke C. Yepsen
