Council Member Sullivan joined community leaders and the public in welcoming the crew of STS 127 back to Houston from their 15 day mission in space. The crew installed a one of a kind porch in space, delivered astronaut Timothy L. Kopra to the space station and returned Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata to Earth. STS-127 was the 29th shuttle mission to the International Space Station.
