On September 1st, Council Member Sullivan attended the ribbon cutting of the United Service Organization’s new 1,200 sq ft. facility located in Terminal D at Bush Intercontinental Airport. On behalf of Mayor Bill White, Council Member Sullivan presented the USO with a proclamation, proclaiming September 1, 2009 as “Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport USO Center Day.” The new accommodations give retired and active servicemen and women the opportunity to use the facility while traveling through Houston.
