Daniel Nhật Dan Albert
Daniel Nhật Dan Albert – Chief of Staff
Daniel is an attorney specializing in tax, business, and finance law.  Daniel was born in France and immigrated to the US at the age of 6.  After graduating at the top of his high school class, Daniel attended Tulane University on a scholarship and graduated in 3 years with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.  Daniel went on to the University of New Orleans and graduated with a Master in Business Administration with a 4.0 GPA in just 1 year.  After briefly working as a banker, Daniel decided to attend law school.  He attended North Carolina Central School of Law on a full scholarship and graduated cum laude.  In order to further his law career in tax, he attended Northwestern University School of Law, graduating with a Master of Laws in Taxation with honors.  Following his legal education, Daniel has worked for a Big Four accounting firm, 3 large national law firms, and was the first Vietnamese American to clerk for a federal judge at the United States Tax Court.  Besides work, Daniel is deeply involved with his community.  While living in Washington DC, he founded the National Organization for Vietnamese American Leadership and held the Vietnamese Heritage Festival, the largest Vietnamese American festival on the East Coast.  In 2013, Daniel was honored with The Quintessence of Vietnam Award (Tinh Hoa Nuoc Viet) for his leadership and community service.  Daniel has served as Advisor and General Counsel for the Vietnamese Community of Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. as well as for the Vietnamese Association of Jacksonville, Florida.  While in Jacksonville, he also served on boards of the Jacksonville Housing Development Commission and the Jacksonville Health Facility Authority.

Van Huynh
Van Huynh – Chief of Community Affairs
Van is a proud staff member of Council Member Le and serves as the Chief of Community Affairs.  He graduated from the University of Houston – Downtown with a BBA degree in Finance and Economics in May 1998. In the past 18 years, Van has been a successful Investment Advisor representing major financial firms such as Morgan Stanley, UBS, ING and Transamerica Financial Advisors to help families to build and preserve wealth. Van is also very active in community services. He served on the Board of Advisors for the Asia Society of Texas, Southeast Asian Resource Action Center in DC, The Vietnamese Community of Houston and Vicinity.  His vision and passion is working together with the people in our district to make District F safer and stronger.
