South Lockwood Project
The City of Houston plans to reconstruct S. Lockwood between Buffalo Bayou and Harrisburg in the coming years to address street quality and drainage. The project is still in the design phase, but is expected to cost ~$17.6 million. As Public Works gets closer to finishing the design, they will host a public meeting to share any new updates on the project as well as provide contact information for the project manager, contractor, and inspectors who will be working the site and available during construction to address any concerns the surrounding public may have.
