FINAL OPPORTUNITY TO RESCHEDULE CASES WITHOUT PENALTY

LogoOctober 14, 2005 -- Citizens who had cases scheduled for September 22, 23, 24, 26 and 27 will have until 10 PM , Friday, October 21, 2005 to reschedule their cases.  Understanding most citizens were out of town before, during and after Hurricane Rita, Presiding Judge Berta Mejía has granted a last opportunity for those who have been unable to reschedule. Judge Mejía had originally allowed citizens until Friday, October 7 to request resets. However, those who do not respond to this final opportunity will face consequences such as charges for failure to appear and arrest warrants.

Resets may be requested in person at the Court location where the case was set or, if not possible, at any of the following locations:
