Celebrate with a Day of Fun at Vale-Asche Foundation Playground at Memorial Park

10:30 a.m. until noon Mayor Bill White to accept $25,000 Award at 11:30 a.m.
Mayor Bill White invites you to a morning of fun activities in Memorial Park as Houston is presented The Accessible America Award by the National Organization on Disabilities.
Live musical entertainment and lots of activities will take place.
The playground is located on East Memorial, just north of Asnot, and across from Memorial Park Golf Course. Convenient parking is located at the Mayor Jim McConn Memorial Ballfields.
This community event also coincides with the 15th anniversary of the creation of the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities and the Houston Commission on Disabilities.
