Safety of Houston's Drinking Water

 

The following local experts explain the safety of Houston’s drinking water in further detail.

 

Kyle Jones, MD, is a radiation physicist at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Imaging Physics, Division of Diagnostic Imaging. He is also a member of the MDACC Radiation Safety Committee.

 

Margaret Kripke, PhD, is a professor of immunology and the Vivian Smith Chair Emerita at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. In 2003, she was appointed by the President of the United States as a member of the President’s Cancer Panel, a group that advises the President on the status and needs of the cancer problem in America, and continues in this role today.

 

Yvonne Forrest is a senior assistant director of Water Operations in the City of Houston Public Works and Engineering.
