Federal Student Aid Glossary

 It’s important to understand the differences between the three types of federal and state student aid you may be offered. You might qualify to receive Grants, Loans, or Work-Study to help you pay for college. They are different and you must know how each of them can help you out.

There’s no one-size-fits-all for student financial aid. Everybody’s education is unique depending on their needs and circumstances. It is up to you to find the financial aid opportunity that is right for you!

The Federal Work-Study program provides part-time jobs to help students pay for education expenses, if they demonstrate financial need.
