Executive Assistant Fire Chief Daniel Snell is a 31-year veteran of HFD and has served the past two years as an Assistant Chief. He has been directly involved in the evolution of HFD's HAZMAT Team and is nationally recognized as an expert in the field of hazardous materials response and training. Chief Snell heads the Planning & Homeland Security Section and oversees activities within the Fire Marshal's Office, Staff Services, Administration, and Special Operations.
