History - Station 47, being a part of this annexation program, went into service in the old Almeda Plaza Community Hall/Fire Station at the corner of Doris and Lydia. In 1960 the city built a new fire station for the citizens of Almeda Plaza at Tidewater and Almeda. This Fire Station was last renovated in FY 2005.
