History of Fire Station 65
In 1966 at the north end of Lake Houston on Wolf Road, Station #65 opened. It was relocated in 1984 to FM 1960 and Grayfox. This station's original structure served as Station #85 prior to 1984.
Firefighters from Station 65 responded to 450 incidents in 2011. In 2011, the average response time for Booster 65 was 8 minutes and 42 seconds; for Engine 65 was 7 minutes and 8 seconds and for Medic 65 was 6 minutes and 51 seconds.
