HFD Fire Station No. 99
Houston Fire Station #99
History of Fire Station 99
Fire Station 99 is one of three Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Stations to serve the Bush Intercontiental Airport.
In response to the City's steadily increasing volume of travelers, the Houston Airport System continues its commitment to meet the City's needs early on with the construction of two Houston Airport Fire Stations. The total construction cost for Fire Station 54 and Fire Station 99 totalled $7.4 million.
In keeping with the City's growing demand for the fire stations the Houston Airport System's contractor, Stewart-Matl Construction Company, had a construction completion time of only 16 months.
