The Houston Fire Department, Councilmember Addie Wiseman and members of the community hosted an open house of the new Fire Station 105, December 20, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.
The new Fire Station 105 is located at 14014 Lake Houston Parkway at Deussen Parkway and went into service January 3, 2008.
It houses an engine company and a medic unit. The cost of constructing this station was $2,355,311 financed through the City of Houston Capitol Improvement Project fund and minimally offset by a private contribution from a local developer, PNE. Capital Improvement Projects are financed by the City of Houston through the sale of long term bonds.
