INCIDENT UPDATE: Fire on E. 40th at Main Street
Houston Arson Investigators have cleared yesterday's fire on E. 40th Street as incendiary. The suspect involved with this fire, Ernastine Walker (DOB 1/6/1968), has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance by the Assistant District Attorney. Investigators have determined that this fire is not linked to the other recent fires in the area.
The Houston Fire Department was dispatched to the vacant house fire on E. 40th at N. Main just after 1:30 a.m. on November 4, 2009. The fire was taped out within 30 minutes and Neighborhood Protection was called in to demolish the structure. There were no reported injuries.
