As outdoor venues rank in downtown Houston, Ray C. Fish Plaza is among the least known. Fish Plaza is defined by the shade trees and the brick pavers that comprise the area in front of Wortham Theater Center, facing Texas Avenue. Fish Plaza offers savvy planners the opportunity to lease a high-profile location for their events. Built in conjunction with Wortham Center in 1987, the plaza has hosted a number of tent-based events over the years, such as charity galas and receptions. Fish Plaza has hosted high-profile events such Houston Grand Opera's annual "plazacast" and the Houston Texans' announcement of their team name and uniform unveiling. It has also been the site for outdoor concerts, Girl Scout outings, and it even accommodated the Theater District's downtown ice rink for a number of years. Location, location, location. Fish Plaza has it. For meeting planners seeking the glamour of an event held in between two of Houston's most visible landmarks, Wortham Center and Bayou Place, Ray C. Fish Plaza just may be the best option you never thought about. Until now! Debra Ramon / Booking Supervisor / Phone: 713.237.1439 Theater District Parking Map
