Built in conjunction with Wortham Center in 1987, the plaza has hosted a number of tent-based events over the years, such as charity galas and receptions. It has also been the site for outdoor concerts, Girl Scout outings, and it even accommodated the Theater District's downtown ice rink for a number of years.
