Energy Management provides citywide electricity procurement services to include implementing comprehensive energy conservation measures, promoting energy awareness programs and practices and managing the City's energy contracts.
As the City's Energy Manager in the General Services Department, Johnson is responsible for the procurement of electricity and natural gas and efficient use of those commodities. Johnson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Johnson has over 30 years of engineering experience in construction, operation, and design of power generation and chemical process plants.
