ASSESSMENT, INTERVENTION AND MOBILIZATION (AIM)
Houston
Department of Health and Human Services' Assessment,
Intervention and Mobilization (AIM) projects
are conducted through internal and external
collaboration. HDHHS staff from different divisions
with diverse skill sets work closely with one
another in a large scale, grass roots efforts
to fulfill the department's mission "“to
work in partnership with the community to promote
and protect the health and social well being
of Houstonians."
AIM is both
a visionary vehicle and a highly complex venture
that addresses the three core functions
of public health - assessment, policy development
and assurance. For more information about AIM,
