The Harris County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is part of a nationwide network coordinating supportive services for the elderly as mandated by the Older Americans Act of 1965 and its AAA logosubsequent amendments.  The AAA plans and contracts for services for senior citizens throughout Harris County. Nutrition services include the home-delivered meal program for the homebound elderly and the congregate meal program at 48 senior centers in Harris County. Senior Alerts

The Attorney General's Web site, www.oag.state.tx.us has a Senior Alert interactive page where citizens can report scams that have happened to them or to others. This will enable the Attorney General's office, in turn, to issue Senior Alerts informing other senior Texans of such scams. It will also allow the Attorney General's Office to take swifter action against the perpetrators of scams.
