PUBLIC PARKING

A parking garage is located adjacent to the Bureau of Vital Statistics office.  The busiest part of any workday is difficult to predict, but we are usually busiest between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  During busy periods of the workday the parking garage may be full.  We are not responsible if you receive a parking ticket or if your vehicle is towed for parking illegally on the street, in the garage or in a business parking lot near the office. The Bureau of Vital Statistics does not operate the parking garage.  

PARKING GARAGE FEES

• 1 hour or less - $2.00

• 1-2 hours - $4.00

• over 2 hours - $6.00.  

NOTE TO PARENTS

It is not necessary for you to bring your child to the Bureau of Vital Statistics to obtain a Certificate of Birth for that child.  The lobby waiting area is not spacious and is not designed to accommodate or entertain children.  They may find a long wait to be difficult.
