Fernando Segura, B.S.

Fernando Segura
Fernando Segura graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He has worked at various levels of public health here in Houston and in the state of Nevada, with previous positions including Health Educator for the Harris County of Public Health and Environmental Services; Communicable Disease Specialist for the Clark County Health District in Las Vegas, Nevada; and Disease Control Specialist II for the Nevada State Health Division Bureau of Disease Control and Intervention Services, and Senior Public Health Investigator in HDHHS’ Bureau of HIV/STD and Viral Hepatitis Prevention. He is currently working on the Houston Medical Monitoring Project in HDHHS’s Bureau of Epidemiology.
