Investigator 
James T. Gomez has been employed
with the City of Houston Health Department since June 2001. He initially
was hired as a Medical Social Worker, working at the Northside Health
Center for the first two years before joining the Epidemiology Department
as an Epidemiology Investigator. Since that time, he has been a member
of the Adult/Adolescent Study of HIV Disease Project (ASD), Hepatitis
C Surveillance project
and assisted in General Surveillance before becoming a member of the
Houston Medical Monitoring Project. Mr. Gomez has received his certificate in public health in 2008 at UT School of Public Health and is working towards his MPH.
