Mamta H. Singh, PhD, MSc
Research Fellow
Mamta H. Singh, PhD is the Research Fellow with the HMMP and joined the project team in June 2013.  She received her doctorate degree in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA and a Masters in Zoology degree from University of Delhi, India. Dr. Singh has strong analytical and quantitative skills and she is a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9. Previous positions held by her include Research and Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University and Research Associate at the United Nations Environment Program at the Regional Office of North America (UNEP-RONA). Dr. Singh recently transitioned to public health field with a special interest in HIV/AIDS surveillance and environmental epidemiology. Her current research efforts focus on risk behaviors, clinical outcomes and met and unmet needs for ancillary services among HIV-infected adults receiving medical care in Houston, Texas.
