Epidemiology Corner 2004 review
Epi Corner,
during 2004, presented information on a variety of health topics
ranging from infectious diseases such as hepatitis A, to chronic
health problems such as asthma, to environmental health concerns
such as mold. The articles discussed ways to prevent or reduce
the negative effects of injury and illness in addition to providing
information on the health effects.
Epi Corner in 2005 will continue
to help keep Pulse readers up-to-date on health topics by providing
information needed to prevent injury and illness, interviewing
local health experts, explaining key epidemiological terms and
otherwise describing the health of Houston. If there are any
topics of public health importance you would like to see addressed
