FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  

HDHHS, agencies to offer free HIV testing June 27

The Houston Department of Health and Human Services (HDHHS) and agencies involved with the Mayor’s HIV Task Force will offer free HIV testing June 27 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as part of National HIV Testing Day.

Testing will be offered at:

  • the Donald R. Watkins Prevention Center, 8449 Bellfort Street, Suite 140
  • WAM, 1240½ Post Oak Road, Suite 121
  • Kashmere Annex 3815 Cavalcade, and
  • Progressive Amateur Boxing Association (PABA), 3212 Dowling.

Other agencies sponsoring the testing are Bread of Life, Families Under Urban and Social Attack (FUSSA), NAACP, Thomas Street Clinic and St. Hope Foundation.
