Rental space is available at the Kashmere Multi-Service Center for
public meetings, receptions, workshops, banquets, seminars, etc.
Meeting space includes a conference room, amphitheatre, auditorium

Care Connection: Aging and Disability Resources Center

Specialized in locating both private and public services for older adults and individuals with disabilities of all ages. Care Connection is a free service targeting residents of these Texas counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton.

A.P.C. INC. After School Program

The Association for the People and the Community is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educating today youth through after school programming. The A.P.C.’s mission is to build an intelligent, confident and proactive community. We offer tutorials, enrichment, and college discovery courses empowering students to achieve at all costs.

Community Re-Entry Network Program (CRNP)


Monday—Thursday 8:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m.

Provides programmatic resources for the ex-offender through life skills classes, case management and referrals to other providers to assist with bridging the transition from prison to the community.

HDHHS Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program

Provides homelessness prevention and assistance to households who would otherwise become homeless and provides assistance to rapidly re-house persons who are homeless.

Kashmere School-Based Wrap Around Project (S.W.A.P.)


Monday—Friday 8:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.

Project S.W.A.P. is a collaborative of three programs within Harris County Protective Services working together to provide assistance and support to families with children who have mental health needs within the Kashmere Gardens community. Services are free and voluntary.

City of Houston Mayor's Citizen Assistance Office


Monday—Friday 7:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m.

Functions in a “customer service” capacity to ensure that city services are delivered to surrounding neighborhoods. Provides investigation on location of problems and quick reporting of the problem to the proper department to be solved within a reasonable period of time. Also, provides support to groups involved with community development activities and works directly with civic clubs, neighborhood organizations, schools and churches. Serves as an information and referral source.


Neighborhood Centers, Inc. Senior Citizens Program


Monday—Friday 8:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.

Provides meals on-site to seniors over 60. Includes social services, exercise, nutrition education and other programming to keep the senior population fit both physically, mentally and emotionally.
