City of Houston's Dental program provides comprehensive and preventive dental services for single persons ages 1 through 20 years for children (1) through 20 years whose family is enrolled in the Women Infant Child (WIC) Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP); and for Medicaid recipients ages 1 through 20 years. Single persons ages 1-20 years and do not have Medicaid, CHIP or WIC would have to go through a dental eligibility process. The Senior Program provides daily meals, entertainment, health education classes, daily fitness classes, transportation and field trips for senior citizens in the community. NCI implements programs to meet the needs of all attending senior citizens by linking them to the in house agencies to provide them with assistance as needed.

Target Hunger/Houston Food Bank

The commodity Supplemental Food Program is designed to improve the health and nutrition of senior citizens, pregnant women and postpartum mothers, infants and children. Participants receive one box of food once a month. Who is eligible? People over 60 years old and income eligible, women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, under one year post partum, infants/children under six years old who do not receive WIC.
