BARC sets adoption events
The Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care (BARC) will sponsor several pet adoption events through the end of the month. Visit an adoption site and encourage friends to stop by to adopt a pet.
Participants can choose to adopt a cat or a dog at the events. Adoptions are $55 and include spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip implant.
Dates, locations and times for the adoption events are:
Saturday, August 22:
Galleria Mall (near The Gap), 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Rice Village Animal Hospital, 2348 Rice Blvd., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tuesday, August 25:
Denver Harbor Multi-Service Center, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 6402 Market
Ring Branch Library, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., 8835 Long Point Road
