(HDHHS) will continue to provide preventive
antibiotics against bacterial meningitis to
Texas Southern University students on Wednesday.

Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
screened more than 1,200 students and faculty
Monday and Tuesday. By Tuesday afternoon, HDHHS
had provided antibiotics to 531 people.
TSU students were diagnosed with meningitis
last week. Meningitis is an infection of
the covering of the brain and spinal cord.
