TALHO Services Transition to City of Houston
The Texas Association of Local Health Officials (TALHO) officially closed its doors August 30, 2013. TALHO served local public health departments across the state of Texas for over 14 years, assisting with many critical public health functions that include policy advocacy, IT infrastructure and services, program support, trainings, and conferences. TALHO also provided numerous additional benefits for public health departments and their staff, including networking opportunities, bi-monthly membership meetings, the Janet Emerson Award, and much more.
Since the closing of TALHO, the City of Houston has stepped in to ensure program continuity through transition of critical syndromic surveillance services previously operated by TALHO. These critical services include: RODS, ESSENCE, Rollcall
TALHO Syndromic Surveillance services will continue to be supported. Please continue to access your RODS and ESSENCE applications through the same web-links that were provided to your department. If there are any issues regarding the data feeds, user accounts, or website issues, please contact us.
The Rollcall application info and dashboard can be found at https://rollcall.talho.org/about
