Houston HOPE is the City of Houston's initiative to reinvest in some of Houston’s historic neighborhoods through a combination of stabilization activities and by supporting locally-led community building activities. The goal of Houston HOPE is to build strong neighborhoods that meet the needs of their current residents and are attractive to new and returning families.

Who Qualifies
You may qualify for up to $30,000 to buy your own home. The City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department administers the Houston Homebuyer Assistance (HHA).
Getting Started
Your Houston HOPE partner will aid you in securing a mortgage loan from an Authorized Lending Partner, and take you through the application for Houston HOPE downpayment assistance.
