Her motto is “Each one, should reach one.” She is active in her church and mentors high-school girls.

Ms. Grant is deputy director of the Enterprise Resources Planning systems support team – which means she has been very busy. She is responsible for supporting all user-department ERP needs as well as troubleshooting any ERP issues or problems, including enhancements and updates to the SAP systems, testing, training, and ensuring that everything is up and ready to go.

 Both phases of the SAP project demanded an aggressive implementation schedule that had to be adhered to, and with Ms. Grant’s unwavering leadership and operational expertise, the goals were successfully realized. Other recent accomplishments included the HoustonOne project where Ms. Grant served as the ERP Phase 1 delivery manager.

Earl Lambert, citywide chief technology officer, and Richard Lewis, the city’s chief information officer, are pleased with her performance and accomplishments.

Prior to the Information Technology Department, Ms. Grant was deputy director in the Controller’s Office for 20 years, serving six City Controllers. During this period the city was awarded its first Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for its annual report.

She loves working with others and inspiring them to be the best they can be. Her motto is “Each one, should reach one.” She is active in her church and mentors high-school girls. Those who know her say she has a true passion for her job and her community.
