Ms. Gutierrez is the first part-time employee to be honored with a BRAVO! Award.
For the past 15 years she has been a part-time recreation assistant. Although she averages only 25 hours a week, she has been a dedicated professional serving citizens and their children at the Denver Harbor Park.
Ms. Gutierrez currently instructs an exercise class which she helped start two years ago. We soon began receiving letters from participants expressing their appreciation for her hard work. The class has since grown in size and transformed into a close-knit support group.
Supervisors describe her as an employee with a multitude of talents and a personality that makes her a role model for a recreation professional. She is the perfect example of someone who works for the love of what she does and not for monetary rewards. To quote one supervisor: “It’s rare to find a teammate who can create such an impact through her dedication, knowledge and passion for community involvement.”
She spends her off-duty hours lending a hand at community centers giving patrons fitness advice and volunteering with civic and faith-based organizations attending to the needs of children.
We present this BRAVO! Certificate to Ludivina Gutierrez.
