Randy Walcik and his dad were working at an air-conditioning company when his dad started having severe chest pain, Walcik wrote.

Keith Kennedy, Darrel Phillips, and Michael Vasquez responded quickly to the 911 call. They worked in a business-like manner and administered a research drug before transporting him to the hospital, Walcik wrote.

The doctor later told him that if not for the quick response and the research drug, his father probably would have died, Walcik wrote.

“My dad is back doing his normal activities thanks to these wonderful men,” Walcik wrote. “Thank you and a job well done from a fellow firefighter.”
