Feature Events
Nov. 7-19
Broadway in Houston – All Shook Up, Hobby Center:
Guys, don’t be cruel; take your gal to this show, or you might be left lonely tonight. A guitar-playing roustabout rides into a square state and turns the town upside down in this musical featuring some of Elvis’ best songs. For more information, visit www.broadwayacrossamerica.com/houston or call (713) 622-7469.

Nov. 11
The Australian Pink Floyd Show, Verizon Wireless Theater:
Missed seeing Pink Floyd in their heyday? Since Roger Waters won’t speak to David Gilmore, a true reunion isn’t happening. Here’s the next best thing, though: a tribute band that plays all the hits. Show starts at 8 p.m. Visit www.verizonwirelesstheater.com for more information, or call (713) 230-1600.

Dec. 2
Teddy Bear Checkup, The Health Museum:
Teddy bears have a rough life. A child strangles them at night and neglects them during the day. Well, here’s a chance to take the cuddly buddy for a check up. Your child and his friend can visit stations to learn about hygiene, nutrition and dental health. Volunteers from Texas Children’s Hospital will tell them everything they need to keep the child and teddy bear healthy. Visit www.thehealthmuseum.org for more information, or call (713) 521-1515.

Dec. 9
Snow Flurry III, Museum of Natural Science:
Is your little one dreaming of a white Christmas? With 40,000 pounds of real snow, a visit from Santa and a live reindeer, Snow Flurry III is a chance for kids 10 and under to frolic in a flurry of fun. Admission is free with paid museum admission; otherwise, tickets are $3 per person. For more information, visit www.hmns.org or call (713) 639-4629.
