Sept. 2
Fly Fiddles With Film Noir, Miller Outdoor Theatre:
It was a dark and stormy night when the dame entered my office. She was pretty, but sad, like someone had cast her in the role of damsel in distress in an old-time movie. She said her husband had gone to the outdoor theater to examine classic movies from the 1940s and ’50s that use narration and multimedia. I thought that sounded like a happening time, so I suggested we try to find him there. If you want to go too, you can find more at www.milleroutdoortheater.com or by calling (713) 284-8352.

Through Sept. 4
Body Worlds 3:
The anatomical exhibition of real human bodies, Museum of Natural Science: Beauty is only skin deep, but this exhibit shows that what’s underneath can be pretty fascinating. The striking whole-body plastinates in BODY WORLDS 3 exhibits people who donated their bodies for plastination for the purpose of educating future generations about health. For more information, visit www.hmns.org or call (713) 639-4629.
