Bayou Beckons - Buffalo Bayou Regatta, downtown:
Whether you paddle competitively or just for fun, the regatta is a great way to see Houston from a whole new angle. This 15-mile canoe and kayak race through the heart of the city starts at 9 a.m. at 7700 San Felipe near Voss and ends at Sesquicentennial Park.
